Strugurii provin din zona Marenca-Rivette din comuna Serralunga d’Alba.  Suprafata totala cultivata aici este de 12ha, aflata la o altitudine de 300m peste nivelul marii. Produs pentru prima oara in 1988, trece printr-un poces de macerare de 3 saptamani pe bostina, maturare 12 luni in “barriques” si 18 luni in butoaie mari de stejar. Cei mai buni ani au un potential de invechire de 40-50 de ani.
